looking good
Did you silver solder the fly wheel ?
I particularly like the look of it, spokes look to be more of a curve than mine.

stew i silver soldered the spokes in the center hub, them turned the o.d. to a light press and used 620 locktite into the bore.had to make the spokes twice as i had trouble getting them to solder, opened the holes up .003 and then pickled it all for a couple of days in vinegar . then used a larger tip to get the right heat, second time a charm. hope to get more done this week, need to cut the radius on the two parts.i also need to get some fire brick to help in silver soldering.jonesie

You can use thermalite blocks they are a lot cheaper than fire bricks, and you can cut them to shape with a saw.

You can get the termalite from building supliers, over her in the UK, B & Q is the place, they sell off damaged blocks for 25% or less of full price, if they don't have any damaged, you can always have an accident with a shopping trolly.
