Title: Comcast AMC no audio
Post by: Chuck in E. TN on September 03, 2011, 05:45:05 PM
Any East US members that have Comcast Cable having problems with the AMC channel having no audio? It usually happens on the weekends, when I want to watch an old John Wayne movie.
I have Basic cable, internet and now phone from comcast. Internet has it's share of problems, usualy dns issues. Phone has been great since I switched. Comcast Cable really sux! They drop a channel about each month, the channel listing was first. Lots of paid advertising early in the morning (I'm an early riser...)They're standard answer is the dropped channel was moved to digital.
I have to laugh at their tech support, as I'm a computer tech by trade, and can diagnose a connectivity problem when it arises. They can always "see" my modem, therefore my connection is good. Doesn't seem to matter that their DNS server can't find a web address but a public DNS server can...

Hi Chuck,

I had a lot of issues with Comcast (now xFinity here) and dropped them fast when Fios hit my neighborhood a few years back. I will never go back to them.

Audio on Comcast AMC channel is still out.
Comcast is pushing Xfinity here now. What crap!
