It knocks and is pretty loud but it runs. :-) As our UK cousins would say I'm quite chuffed. It's from the HMEM EZ build plans. I didn't do a build log since world+dog has done this one and it's a pretty well documented build. It's pretty noisy, but it runs!

Well I think that's pretty good, :D my first engine was no where near as good as yours.
Looks nicely made to me, and it runs very well
So you are chuffed, and so you should be smashing little engine that.

Superb, and well done for tackling a slide valve as a first engine.

Well done!!
I was thinking......you could fit a radial ball or needle race as an easy fix for the flywheel. Just fit over the crank and press the flywheel to it and the bearing plate. They are found everywhere as thrust bearings...computer harddrives etc.

Good job! Thanks for sharing.

A good start of making engine, with some small modification you will have a nice engine :D

As somebody mentioned...
Don't think of it as "It runs but it's noisy"
instead think of it as
"It runs and it's noisy" :D
