You should worry; most of my hot bits seem to find their way down my shirt collar.
If it's steel, now's the time for a strong magnet.

Shop camo?
What kind of military engine you were making on that attire?

He was not making an engine. He wears that coat in his shop when he does not want to be interrupted. He wears the coat and if someone comes to the shop looking for him they can not see him because he is camouflaged.

Ahhahaa...Wouldn't then something like square drape blue, grey and different shades on blacks on different shades of white break his outline better in urban shop environment? Or maybe he lives on such a temperate climate that has one side open?

Nice one and i do admit to doing similar weekly, have to prise each one out leaving the burn mark.
When going is really tough full helmet and visor plus hold a card in front to direct the flow of hot chips.
Worst was some years ago turning some spring steel square in to round - dont wear glasses :palm:
Minor things i will wear one of my shooting caps with neck zipped up.
Save it to December have your own light up Christmas tree.

Were do the hot bits land?
Normally for me between the toes!!!!

The wife bought me the coat she will go balistic :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:
A simple piece of card to direct the chips would have been so easy :( :( :( :( :(

I don't use them as often as I should, but when doing heavy flycutting or surface grinding, I have a few strategically placed roller blinds fitted to the ceiling and when rolled down form a 'blast wall' to stop the chips and dust from flying too far.

It helps if you have a friend who works in a blinds shop, and can make them to whatever width and colour you want, using the 'old boy' network.
I ordered them at 8:30 am and they were delivered by about 10 am the same morning.
