Interesting setup. I have the same RT... been trying to come up with a solution. I assume you drilled out and tapped the center of the RT?

Mine came with that 6mm tapped hole already in it.

I have one with m8 whole.. :headbang:

I made an adaptor similar to that so I could use my four jaw chuck but I also bought one of these small 3 jaw chucks from H.F. and it's about all I use these days. It fits directly into the MT1 tapered hole in the RT. It's easy to align to the mill, that's for sure.
Not much help for an RT with a threaded hole, I know....

I have a 7x10 and a Taig that I have lots of 3/4-16 accessories for. Here is what I made for my rotary table

My HF Rotary Tables was threaded and had a taper
The Drill Bit was ground to use as a wide screwdriver to insert and remove the adapter.

Table With Chuck Mounted

I also made an adapter so I could mount the chuck to my mill table.
Works great for holding round pieces vertically in the mill.
