I've almost finished my new QCTP project....hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures here to amuse you all. So the Next Project requires selecting, well actually next but one, the next will be to upgrade my C2 lathes gibs to taper gibs a la Bogs. So, for the next but one project, a Centring Microscope rather appeals. If the Hemingway Kits one had an angled eyepiece, I think that I would simply get the kit, but I want an angled eyepiece to ease its use in the mill. There is the one by Dick Stephens in MEW, but I would prefer a fully enclosed one, to keep the crud out, even if that requires internal illumination.
I would like to produce my own set of drawings....part of the fun......so I'm really looking for ideas I suppose
Does anyone have any thoughts?
cheers

Cool... I've never seen such a thing!
I've got some bits out of an electron microscope that I erm, salvaged from a skip years ago... A prism, 2 amazing metal polished mirrors one flat one at 45deg and some lenses.... This could be a relatively easy thing to do??
Wow, a project that might get me back into the workshop? :dremel:
Thank you for the spark guys

Here's one I've been fascinated with but can't seem to find the time to build between "important" projects. Love to have one!
