Title: help me identify saw

hello

i just got this saw for £10 it works but slow still better than cutting by hand

my question how should i tension the blade when i replace it as no tensioner present

One of the reasons for such a wide blade is that you don't need a tensioner. Also I'm asuming the blade is a bit thicker than a band saw blade?

its just a standard 12" hacksaw blade in this at the minute

the frame is aprox 7" end to end

They were quite commonly advertised in ME ... '60's /'70's ish.

There is another called the ( Kennedy ? ) IIRC.
