Title: Little Compressor.
Post by: Stilldrillin on October 04, 2009, 05:54:21 AM
I needed a small, quiet, compressor for testing small engines.

Chris, (I think), posted this link,    http://www.rdgtools.co.uk/acatalog/COMPRESSORS.html

And I decided, what`ll blow a lot `ll blow a little. So I bought the big one!

Controlled by a 2 position rocker switch. This gives full blow, or obey regulator.

Here it is, doing it`s job, perfectly......

I`ve drilled 1mm hole through a piece of 1/4" bar to give a gentle blow gun, for brass swarf in collets etc...

Not silent, but I would happily use it indoors. But not when Mrs. D`s watching tv.....  :D

Interestingly, 2 or more sellers on Ebay, (incl RDG) all charge £88 + £12 carriage. Buying via website got it here for £87!

Nice setup!  Just for fun I picked up one of these the other day https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2009100410535508&item=4-1586&catname=air (https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2009100410535508&item=4-1586&catname=air)  Probably not good for much else, but works great for little engines!
