Title: Happy Christmas Everyone
Post by: awemawson on December 23, 2024, 02:43:30 PM
The big day is creeping ever closer, sounds  of Reindeer on the roof, and pretty lights all arround so time to let in the seasonal cheer!

Last year we spent Chrismas in the Canaries as it was our golden wedding but this year the plan is for a nice quiet one round the fire - it was very odd having Christmas on the beach!

But today I received a pallet of parts from a scrapped Beaver CNC lathe so hopefully I can resume my fight with the turret drive of my Beaver TC20 that has defeated me for a couple of years. !

Happy Christmas, all, and a very merry (hic ) New Year!

Sadly, my new year starts with closing down my old workshop... but never fear, I will (one day!) be back with an all new shop, hopefully at home, and at least some of the machines I used to have!

And a belated happy Christmas from down under, where Christmas under the sun is normal. 38c this year. And hotter on boxing day, but only 22 today.
