I saw this in another place, thought it was apt

"When a buddy of mine got his first job in a grinding shop he asked his machinist uncle,
"What's the most important thing I need to know?"
"You gotta count to ten. If you can count to ten in the morning, you gotta count to ten at night. Don't get stuck at nine and a half."
