Hi All
The L5 restoration thread reminded me that I need a L00 backplate or catch plate to make an adaptor for the
€40 bargain 3 jaw chuck I picked up a couple of months ago
Does anyone have a spare lying unused ?
Regards
John

Hard to come by, if all else fails I got mine 16 years ago from http://www.homeandworkshop.co.uk £76 an import.
Rdg do them £98
Knew I should have just scrapped my 140 and sell the parts but needed the room.

If it's not already been sold there's a possibility on Homeworkshop:

HI All,
Phil,
I replied to the homeworkshop ad a week ago but have had no contact from the seller so far ??
I know that I can buy a new one but was hoping to avoid that kind of expence,
I have put a considerable amount of time and money into my"new" lathe a Colchester Triumph 2000 and have not made a €,£ or $ with it yet
Cheers
John

John,
Have you tried a wanted ad on Homeworkshop?
My lathe has a D1-3 spindle and backplates etc are much easier to come by.

I would have to ask why anyone would want a catchplate on a Loo? :D
