Chaps,
Am considering machining some basic parts from Nylon or another similar strength plastic, so is Nylon difficult to band saw advice please? Also can it be drilled with say a large 50mm-60mm hole saw?
TIA

The quick answers are: #1 No and #2 Yes. Nylon is very easy to work with. It can be cut with almost any type saw from a hand saw on through a table saw meant for wood with wood and metal band saws in between.
When machining it the tool bit should be as sharp as possible and turn it at high speed. Boring with a hole saw is not a problem either but do not turn it as fast.
