Received an email from woodcraft, they have a sale on till 4/30/11 170 Piece TiN Coated HSS Twist Drill Bit Set With Drill Bit Gauge   for $44.99   $55.00 off the regular price.  Since they are the smaller sizes that tend to break with use.

I was in the area the store is located in so I stopped in.

All look good the larger sizes near 3/8" are the ones that only have 5 each. Very nice quality steel box that can hold some extra drills in each compartment. Looks like I can clean out the drawer with envelopes. the drill gauge is also metal not plastic.

Sales must come from much higher up than the retail location these days.  I just received a flyer for Canadian Tire today showing a virtually identical set with about the same sale price.  Coincidence?  Maybe.

I've looked at the set a few times myself, but I don't do enough repeat work to need so many of the same size bits.
