I have made myself a website with my work shop and projects

It sure looks like a pretty nice workshop to me. It looks like you are a man of many talents. From what I saw in some of the videos you know how to dress for the cold. I was impressed by the well behaved dogs. They just sat there and watched you carve up their dinner for them and didn't try to help. I am sure it took a couple of sessions to get them to behave like that.

food for the dogs and I have nothing to do with the training of the them !
... but I was impressed too !
Contrary to all rumors the sledge dogs isn't as fierce as their reputation !
It is the inuit hunters, who should have the credited for the dogs upbringing !

You do have some good looking older iron in the shop! They look sturdy and well cared for.
My school Swedish was enough to understand most (or a least enough) of your Danish in the web pages. But please do me a favor and never attempt to speak Danish to me in case we ever meet :wave: . Whereas written Danish is ok, spoken Danish is totally un-understandable to someone with limited Swedish skills. And I mean totally... When I visited Denmark some twenty years ago, I very soon learned not to try Swedish and stick to English instead. With me trying Swedish and the locals answering in Danish the communication was totally unidirectional ::) .

I can assure you that I have exactly the same problem with your native language - but swedish goes but english is better.
Maybe you know the lathe, it's an old russian STANKO from 1962 - the russians back then was very keen to change goods for goods.
I think my type of lathe was exchanged for some ships from B&W the old danish shipyard, we had them all over in the techinical schools.
We got some Volga Taxis too I remember.

I'll promise not to speak Finnish to you then :wave: .
I am too young (41) to remember the barter days and not been in machining long enough to have seen any of the Russian or other East European machines like the Czech TOS yet. But there seems to be plenty of them around in Finland too and most owners rate them highly.
