Nice job, old stuff is so much better than new, and I get far more pleasure refurbing an old machine, or old kit, than buying new. Onward and upward to you sir!
-
I know it will look great when you're done, the only question is blue or bright?
-
Looking good Bob , I hope you will be varnishing them and not painting blue :bugeye: seems a shame to cover the wood up with blue paint. They should look like new once you have finished them
Cheers Mick

That is shaping up nicely. Keep it coming!

My missus would be very happy to put her recipe cards in those fine bright finished file drawers.
That's why I'm painting things gray. :ddb:
-
As expected they look spot on Bob   , I must agree they do look a bit too non industrial and homely so watch no ladies see them Bob , or they might end up in the house
Cheers Mick

What do you mean, not pretty, looks like the one I did in our front garden, Very Pretty in a rustic sort of way :headbang:.
PS I think Nik Naks are what your sister normally gets in a twist!
-
No those are nick nicks. Nick nacks to a lass are those dangly bits they hang on their ears and necks, along with the bracelety things for wrists.
As for the wall, it'll be fine with a bit of moss and ivy growing on it.
-
Or .....
They might be like me, and have no nicks .....

Hmmmmmm
Wall is fine ... it does what a wall does, anything more than that is sheer exhibitionism IMHO, although a couple of cast Griffons on it wouldn't be amiss.
I'm sure that nice Mr. Wilson would oblige

No, no, knick knacks are little glass cats, poodles and ballerinas, and sometimes eggs. You're thinking of bling.
Nice wall.

Nice wall.
As long as they don't mix their nick-nicks and knick knacks up, it'll all be fine!
