Hi all! Been lurking here for a while, reading and learning quite a lot of stuff, while looking for a lathe and possibly a small mill
I'd like to be able to make small parts for my bike resto project, and maybe some small engines later on...I work as a security officer, and at one place I do my rounds there is a large prototype machine shop, that gives me serious tool envy! In another part of that building, there is a Deckel FP1 mill, and a Gaziano SAG12 lathe standing idle... Too big for my small shop (10'x10'/3x3m), but...
I've been reading at other forums, and I choose MadModder due to the rather friendly atmosphere and characters here. :mmr:

Hi Kjelle!
I think you will find others on this site with 10'x10' shops, and they produce nice stuff in their's.

Hi and thanks guys!
Saw, I've been looking at your project, it's a nice one!
Brass_Machine, I'll get back to that tonight (local time), as I'm off to work in 15 minutes (it's 5.50 am, and -7C outside, brrrr!). Meanwhile, check http://s646.photobucket.com/albums/uu186/KjelleB/
Its a bit jumbled, but that is what I've got at the moment. I'll tell you the stories later.

Velkommen! A bike rebuild seems very interesting! I have rebuilt a pair of small two stroke engines a few years ago, good fun and much to learn! Looking forward to your projects, just remember to take enough pictures

Tack, Trion!
I have done a summary in My Ancillotti's, and when the time comes for the engine, I'll remember to steal my wife's digicam!
