Title: Another Canadian
Post by: steamboatmodel on September 13, 2010, 01:02:31 PM
As my handle shows I play around with model Steamboats. I live in old East York now Toronto the place the rest of the country loves to hate. I am a retired (due to health) CNC Technician, trying to remember how to do all the machining manually. Basic equipment is an old Emco compact 5 lathe, with plans on a benchtop Mill/Drill when funds allow.
Regards,
Gerald.

Gerald,

Welcome to the collective.  :borg:

You look familiar or should I say you avatar looks familiar.  :D

I like steam boats also. My dad built two. I plan on taking one out next year for a run on the St. Lawerence River up in Alexandria Bay.

Hope you enjoy yourself here.

Bernd
