This thread deserved a bump, I've been watching vids from the first link for two days now and they are VERY informative and well presented.

Glad you like the links. The first is very good, and the other is a bit dry at the start, but gets better further in.
I was googling machining sites and found them, and that is also how I found this site. :beer:

You can download the MIT videos and then view them at your leasure. Between 2a.m. and 7a.m. I have unlimited download bandwidth so downloaded all nine of the videos and have been perusing them at my leisure. They certainly worth keeping in you machinery library. :D
