Hello, and what a great forum!
I am new to all this a bit later in life and have stumbled over here due to finding out about the Gingery Lathe, then came across vtstream's amazing thread! I am hoping to start down that route myself sometime this summer and have learnt so much in that thread to help me on my journey. I am a refugee from a career in IT and have never done more than a bit of woodworking and some railway modelling, but I am interested in many things sometimes to my detriment.
:)
Anyway I am really looking forward to learning from this forum and hopefully will have some progress to show in the not too distant future, but knowing me it will be slow...
Regards
Tom

Good to see you here.
Remember, we love photos. So when you start making those ideas that have been running around your head, send some pics.

Welcome Tom, I have a feeling that IT will become more important in this world as 3D printing comes of age.

Welcome from another bod from the upside down side of the globe. I am sure you will get a lot of enjoyment, even help sometimes  from those who know much more than me (not that they would have to know much) here. Get one of these and browse, :coffee:
Welcome Again.
