Thanks for posting that Bernd. That spoke bending jig is something that anyone should be able to complete in a couple of hours, even you and me.

He certainly does have a lot of very nice engines that he has built. There is certainly a lot more there than just how to build a curved spoke flywheel if one clicks on the "back" link at the top of the page.  :ddb: :ddb:

Cheers

I figured people would go through his site once there. And your right, he does have nice engines and there is more to see that might get the  :proj: started in some one, eh?

I wonder how many of the 103 people that have read this post have actually saw that spoke bending jig. It certainly hasn't drawn many comments.

Don,

I think sometimes the simplest method or procedure baffales people or maybe they think, "It can't be that easy. There's got to be a more complicated way of doing that."

Don,

The jig pic could have been much clearer than it is......

I assumed the shank was inserted into the post, and the "Cold Iron Blacksmith" hammered it around the former, until it would curve no more.......

Or, am I wrong?

David,

I'd say you "hit the curved spoke with the hammer" alright on that one.
