Title: Something special that I made just in time for Christmas
Post by: ibuildstuff4u on December 11, 2010, 11:16:42 PM
It's a beautiful Girl!

Sorry guys I know this is the wrong place to post, but it's my first and we are so excited to be parents.

Looks like projects in the shop will be put on hold for awhile, but she is totally worth it!

Thanks for letting me share!

That is the end of one part of the project and the start of another longer ongoing project which will bring you much happiness and joy in the coming years. Enjoy and treasure each and every day because they grow up way to fast.  :D :) :) :D

Nice one mate, I bet you`re very happy! I`ve also got a daughter, she has just turned 2 now but I still remember her that age. Treasure every moment, they grow up so fast and before you know it they are talking to you and having a paddy !!! I`m currently sat in my living room 6:30am, I`ve been up an hour, I`m reading Peppa Pig with my daughter .....need sleep. Welcome to the world of the sleep deprived !!

Dale,

1) The point of children is to drive their parents out of whatever is left of their minds.  I am sure your daughter will do that well!

2) Both of my daughters (now 27 and 30) grew up working in my shop.  Do not bias otherwise.  Similarly, sons should be taught to sew and cook.

3) I have determined the scariest moment in a man's life.  I had worked through the night finishing off a project for a customer.  It was a nice August morning and I sat at the door to my shop having a cup of coffee while waiting for the final coat of finish to dry.  I saw a female form pass by and turned my head -- and it was my daughter!

Always remember point #1.

Close, but.......no cigar!  :)

Many congrats, Dale. I trust Baby [insert name (Ella Marie P...)] and mother are both doing well.

Congratulations Dale. To your wife, you, and your latest completed project. Unfortunately most accessories for this one will need to be bought rather than made.

Wonderful achievement, but please not forget you had help producing that one.
I hope Mum and Baby do well, as for Dad he can look after himself. :)
Congratulations
