Title: For beginners to machining
Post by: bogstandard on December 19, 2008, 06:25:06 PM
This is a nice easy to get about site that gives some good explanations of the basics of things.

http://www.jjjtrain.com/vms/library.html

So if you see someone talking about a certain type of operation, you will be able to understand what it is all about. Plus you might learn a lot as well.

But please be aware that it is geared towards US terminology, so a few of the sayings or words or settings (eg angles on countersinks) might be misread or different if you are from another part of the world.
