hi guys
i found this site while surfing the internut.
i have been actively building models of hit and miss gas engines for the last 20 years.
i also restore full size hit and miss engines.
my paying job involves rebuilding rivet setting machines and some production tooling for said machines.
if you would like to see some of my stuff just follow this link http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/cc274/aermotor8/
some of you guys have seen most of my stuff cause i have posted most of it on another site.
any who thats all for me.

Hey Chuck!
Welcome to the collective :borg:
Gotta say, love going to Canada. Haven't been to Toronto, but my wife loves it there. Kinda cheesy, but one of my favorite TV shows is from Canada... Corner Gas.
Can't wait to see what you do.

Just looked through you photos you've done some great work there  the traction engine looks a 4" to the ft is it ?, did you weld the steel boiler up yourself ?. very impresive, no need to warn you about geting :proj: you've all ready got it :D
Looking forward to following more of your projects.
Have fun

Welcome Chuck (even though we have already chewed the fat a bit on Skype),
I'm sure you will settle in fine here, and that engine you have running is exotic enough to easily qualify you for being mad enough to join the fun and games.

brass machine: corner gas is a great show
sbwhart: the traction engine is a 1/4 scale of a 25 hp waterloo, it belongs to my dad. he had the boiler welded by a profesional welder. dad can weld ok but he wouldn't chance his welds on a pressure vessel. i'm building one of these engines myself but i have along way to go to get to were dads is.
thanks for the warm welcome and kind words..............i have been assimulated............resistance was futile :borg: :nrocks:
