This is a where do I, rather than a how do I.
I am searching for a source of arbor spacers to fit a 1" diameter arbour, and must have the keyway already cut.
There is a bit of a criteria, I only want them to a max of 1/32" thick. 0.005" up to, would be fine.
I have found a supplier in the US, but his only go up to about 3/4" bore, but he sells them at the right price, less than 20 bucks for 100.
If they are around that sort of price, I would take 200.
Can anyone help?
Please, none of the 'why not make them yourself' comments.

Sorry gents, I must have confused you.
I need ALL the same thickness not a range of sizes.
I need to accurately set up a bank of up to 10 thin slitting saws. The spacing isn't critical, but they all have to be the same.
I require something similar to these, but in 1" bore

I know you are only joking John.
But being awkward can pay dividends at times.
I get a bit of free tooling or large discounts from retailers by being just so.
So you can now see what direction I need to be going in.
They should be available, but I just can't find out where.
Otherwise it is going to be a very long haul, cutting and grinding.

Many thanks Rob, I have emailed them and just hope they will supply to the UK.
The only problem being, there were no pricings for them, and everything else they sell does seem to be very expensive.

Everyone who has helped, many thanks.
I have had only one reply from the US and that was asking for everything, right down to the colour of my thong, and still not quoting prices. So they have been kicked into touch
So I called Boneham today, and they do them in a full range of thicknesses, 0.001" and up, for 1" bore with keyway, for 22 pence each (plus vat & postage). So I am very happy with that price, and have ordered 90 off, of varying thicknesses, which will allow me to make up whatever sawpack sizes I need.

No secret Nick,
The saw packs are for making finning on model engines. For round cylinder fins, you cut them on the lathe with a grooving tool, but for finning on straight or irregular shapes, you use a slitting saw.
So If I need to cut say 6 fins down the side of a crankcase, I would use 7 slittings saws to cut the grooves, and the spacers between are set up to whatever width you want the fins. It saves having to do them one at a time, and you also get much more consistent results.
The spacers can be used anywhere you require accurate spacing between cutters. Just an easy way to speed up production of usually many identical items.

At one time I was making model engines all the time, and using all sorts of techniques.
When I get these projects out of the way, my model engine designing and making will be resurrected.
This is my Halo project where I was setting up to do the finning on the cylinders in the lathe. This post will be restarted soon.

I'm tempted to have a go at the Boll diesel aero engine feature in one of the R/C mags... Trouble is dark nights and a cold workshop dont entice me to embark on this...
Apart from the fact that I'm still trying to finish my powered X axis conversion on my mill which is without problems!

Just to finish this topic off, I received the arbor spacers today. They worked out, after all the taxes and postage, just under 33 pence each. Which I am very happy with. Now I know a cheapish source, I will buy a few more in different sizes.
To put John R out of his misery, I went to the shop and set up a basic saw pack. 1/32" saws with a 0.100" spacer pack between each one.

I popped the right angled head onto the mill and set it up for milling in the Y axis, it is easier to see things doing it this way.

A bit of rough ali plate and a 0.100" depth of cut and the saws were on their way.

In less than a minute, the slots were cut.

After moving the pack over and eyeballing to basic alignment, I went for another cut.

So I now hope you understand the reason for the spacers I was after. I have lots of slitting saws of the same size and width combinations, even small solid tungsten ones, so I will now be able to cut mass finning with ease.

At least it gave you a chance to have a play and use the new tool.
My new H/V mill is back together now :ddb:(finally) just got to get the DRO's back on and I am back in business. I will post some pictures of what I have done in a new thread.

I will just add, you don't need a horizontal arbour to do this sort of thing, but it helps when you have long cuts or large areas to cover as it is easier to hold the job horizontal.
As you can also imagine, you can use them in the vertical mode in conjunction with a RT for cutting cylinder fins.
You just have to use you imagination and ingenuity.
