Here is an improvement of a DIY MasterSpiller ... or was it the other way around  :Doh:

 :thumbup:  That cutting fluid dispenser caught my attention too.  I have it written on my workshop to do list.  Nice solution ksor.

 But what is it for?I first thought it was some kind of inline oiler,I've never seen this before can you please enlighten me :scratch:

It's a pot to hold cutting oil when using a brush to apply. A lot cleaner due to any excess oil going back Ito the can rather than down the sides and also it won't leak out if it falls off the lathe/ mill

Our ink wells were like that at school 55 years ago  :clap:

(Filled with 'Quink Blue / Black ' mixed up from powder in a copper jug ! )

Ha! Andrew, you've reminded me of how we all used to compete to be "Ink Monitor" to fill the inkwells on our desks!

And just occasionally we'd slip a bit of calcium carbide in the ink well before the Ink Monitor got there so that it made a dreadful stink (of acetylene !) when it was filled.
