This is the trike i running at the moment i built it about 4 -5 years back but its a on going project and built from scrap and bits from my parts shed :D.
next one is to be built from a pug 1.9 205 GTI motor or a Triumph Dolomite motor in a year or two as i have both in the shop.but the trikes are on the back burner for a bit as as i'am playing with bikes for a time.
enjoy and ask away

Looks like a beast to drive. Do you have to get off to swing the bars far enough to go around a corner? Or do you just have really long arms?
Ever build any backwards ones - the kind with car type front wheels?

I can take it lock to lock from the seat with ease and on the move if you think like a car little pull left or right same as a car steering wheel on the move. i've never built a two up front job but was very lucky to drive a Morgan with a JAP engine some years back and what a fun car that was. an i would put one high on my wish list .

Very cool! Love the battery on the back! Beautiful fabrication. You fit in quite nicely here.
I am into the reverse trikes... the kind with side by side seating.

frame welding on one off trikes of this size is a bit of all sorts as you cant make a jig to build each frame. it would take to long to do so it's built off the floor this where i'am lucky. the shop floor is wood an half of it is coverd with 1/2 inch thick steel plate. so you can lay a center line out block a engine up off the floor to the hight you want than a rear axle. set up your two lower frame rails around the motor then the frame is built with a plumb bob and level. tack weld with the mig as you go and brace it all off the floor then finish welding off with mig and tig. it's a old way of doing it if you ever want a good read and like cars hand built take a look at build your own sports car for as little as $250 and race it it's a Haynes book .i built one about 30 years ago as a lad and best of all i live in crediton devon and hear in the town we have "Marlin cars" one of the last hand built car makers and i can take a look around any time i like. This is a trike i built about 96-97 one of two with almost the same frame you start off with one reliant plastic pig
and end up with a sweet little 100mph trike
