Taking a lead from mikesworkshop I decided to make my own tap holder.
It's incorporates a modified stub arbor with a # 2 morse taper.
It can be used in the lathe tailstock and or my milling machine.
Recently put in a reversing switch for the mill,Weiss 16 specifically for tapping. It never had one.

Again,I hope the phot's work for you.

Looks good.
But I can't work out how it works.

BBB - have a look at Mike's original page (http://mikesworkshop.weebly.com/improved-chuck-for-taps.html) - there's a sequence of diagrams showing the progressive tightening by mutual pressure from one jaw to the next.
