Mathew.

What a nice neat working environment you have created for yourself, I am a little on the neat side too, but I for one  I have this thing when I am working in the shop on a project I tend to create a little disarray.

Again well done on the shop sir.        God bless  Anthony

Yes, very nice.  Question, what are the top surfaces of the counter tops made of and how do you keep them from getting stained?
-Kenneth

Thanks Ken,

They are 3/4" MDF on top on 2x4s. They will stain if not painted or sealed.

Your shop Rocks!!!

I am really crazy when it comes to light!!!! The area is about 10' x 16' , and I have a total of 19 "100 watt"  smart bulbs. I hate shadows!

I sealed the pine table for my shaper with 90 weight gear oil :D I figured it would be hard to get oil stains on it that way.

Nice shop Matt!!! I love the light also. lots of it in mine.

Nicely layed out shop.  Is that a 6" HF buffer I see in one of the photo's?  I just bought one a few weeks back and have really put some use on it.  First day it ran constant for 4 hours.  I am using two buffs on each side.

Thanks Bob, The one by my soldering bricks is a $19.99 black fri sale at Ace hardware my wife got me while I was at deer camp.  :D

Don't tell my wife, but I expanded out into the garage today. My furance room/shop is full and some more room was needed for the new welding and blasting dept. I've added.

Nice workshop Matt, well organised and well appointed.

One question: How do you stop your lathe and milling machine from distributing swarf all over the workshop? It is the bane of my life (well, one of them).
