Hi Eric.

I often wonder how my workshop would look, if I tidied up a lot! :poke:
What do you make in there?

Hi Freaky and I must say that is a very nicely organised shop.

Hello, thank you all for the kind words :)
Rob, the engine on my workbench will be a flame licker (designed by Jan Ridders)

Hi Freaky
Wow! nice shop.. from the looks of it it's a spare room in your house..? don't see any swarf .. yet! unless you're clinically inclined to do the whole room after working on stuff. I would love to utilise the spare room likewise, but SWMBO had the last say on that point.. :(.. so its an outside shed project for later.
Noticed you have black marble/granite slab/cutting board for marking off, that's what I intend to use rather than the 6mm plate glass that I have for now, but it does the job, must go hunting around kitchen supplier workshops :dremel: by the way what model is your lathe?
George
-
Hi George,
cleanup is just as fun as building a project ! They call me for nothing freaky :loco:
I also have a plate glass on my granite lying
At my last house I had my shop in a shed In this house I have my shop in the spare room :ddb:
everything has its pros and cons
My lathe is a HBM 250x550 (almost the same as a Quantum D250x550) only the spindle nose is the same as the Lathemaster 9x30 lathe
I am very satisfied with this lathe

Nice looking shop, but it looks more like a hospital operating room than a metal shop.
Where's all the chips from projects? :D
Bernd

Hi Bernd,
The chips are in there
I wear also a white doctor's coat in the "operating room" eh I mean shop
