Cooked this little blade holder up one evening.. I hade these blade for a while but have been using the GTN3 holder. But my last tip broke off so i made this out of scrap steel and it works well for parting 7075 aluminum anyway. =)
I hade to make this cause the holder for the GTN3 blade couldnt clamp these imperial blades. =)

Any pics of the blade holder (at the same angle) without the blade?

That's neat, and tidy!
Lots of blade support. It will be able to get close to the chuck jaws.

I can shoot some tomorrow, its really simple. Just two blocks that have got a shelf milled into them.
I made em so there is less than 1/10th of a milimeter that will move when torqued down.. Plenty of thread in the screws.. =)
Second weird little thing we needed to make today.

Its basicly small bolts machined so they can be threaded down into a hole leaving spikes for imprinting a block before drilling holes.

Those screws are another little aid, which we need reminding about, occasionally.....
Well done!

Hi all,
Another way to transfer hole centres is to screw in grub screws and then grind a point on a shortened allen key, that's what I had to do, as the lathe was the thing being modified....
Sorry didn't do pics of it, removal of allen key by magnet, it does seem wasteful of tools but needs must...
