Isn`t it nickle oxide with some clear distilled vinegar your after. If you could get glacial ethanoic you`d make your nickle acetate within minutes but I expect with shop purchased food vinegar it`ll take a few days.   :med:

Ordered all the gear/chemicals today  ,Nickel Sulphate ,eye of newt ,and hens teeth  :lol: :lol:,,,, just need plastic tank ,, that i will pick up tomorrow  :ddb:

Rob, are you looking to get into electroforming?  I work for a company that specializes in it.  Not that I hav a lot to do with that side of the business, but I have picked up a little here and there.

Rob, are you looking to get into electroforming?  I work for a company that specializes in it.  Not that I hav a lot to do with that side of the business, but I have picked up a little here and there.

Hi  rleete ,,,,,,,,,, i have had a quick look at electroforming  looks interesting and can  see it could be used to make small detailed model parts  that would normally be made of sheet metal in the full sized version  :dremel:
