Got this off of Russ Keplar's enginerring list. A guy found this web site of a steam engine build. It's in German. He said the Google didn't do a very good job of translating, but the pictures are worth it. There are several pages. Page one starts as Teil 1 meaning part one in German. It goes to Teil 5. Teil 5 has two sections. The second section shows the completed engine.
Wish I knew more German. Never learned to read or write, just speak it. :(
anyway here's the site: http://www.rc-network.de/magazin/artikel_05/art_05-033/art_033-01.html
Enjoy and drool. :jaw:

P.S. I don't think any CNC was used in the manufacture of this machine. All hand made. Talk about crafstmanship.

What I wanna know is this... is it a casting kit or did he cast his own parts. If it is a kit, who makes it?

Sinsheim seems to be the German version (although probably much better) of the british ME exhibition.

The ME list I got this off of was discussing this also. They were trying to find the seller. It seems like they are bought castings.
Here's the Google translation page. I'm going to check it out later. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rc-network.de%2Fmagazin%2Fartikel_05%2Fart_05-033%2Fart_033-01.html&lp=de_en&btnTrUrl=Translate
