Wow it's been quite a year, but I hope that you are all safe and able to enjoy a Happy Christmas with your closest families.
We are locked down in Tier 4 locally so our plans for Christmas went out of the window but never mind, Penny and I will be doing our best to have a good time here hunkered down with the two dogs.
Things obviously will be very different, but with the power of the internet we will be in touch with friends and families where ever they are.
Raise a glass to all the GOOD things and put the horrors of the year behind you
Happy Christmas

Hopefully we can all enjoy some sort of Christmas.....
Whatever you do and where ever you are, have a good one....🍸🍷🍹🍻

Same here from me. We also had to cancel plans which has left our friend and my own brother spending Christmas alone instead of enjoying a good meal and a nice day with people they love, but you can't help that.
The only Christmas present I needed this year was to have all my immediate family present and healthy and in that respect, it's been a very good Christmas. I hope everyone else is the same.
Merry Christmas!

Make the best of it :)

Merry Christmas to everyone! Here in Calgary you can have 1 lone person for dinner so they don’t have to be alone.

May I echo all the sentiments and best wishes above. Special thanks to those who have offered help and advice over the past year too.
Let's hope 2021 does not end with more 'tears'.

Happy Holidays to all! :mmr:
We quarantined for two weeks in preparation to spend this evening with parents-in-law (in their nineties) about 15 miles away, and cook them Christmas dinner --- including steamed pudding with real hard sauce (they liked the hard sauce!). We Zoommed on big screeen TV in the afternoon with the rest of the extended family, also mostly in Vermont, where we are all very lucky to be.
We thought it would surely be a white Christmas after all that snow the other day, but last night and today a torrential downpour and amazingly warm temps (for December here) 14+ C, wiped out all the snow. Our new bridge was tested with a roaring torrent beneath, but the whitewater didn't even cover the first tier of 2 foot abutment blocks, and there are three of them. It was certainly an impressive sight, and sound though!

ps, yesterday I also put up new fishing footage on YT from the Fall in my foam boat:
