Title: Shop cameras and concrete floors...
Post by: Joe d on October 14, 2014, 07:11:43 PM
Dropping the trusty old shop camera on the concrete floor turned out to be a not so good idea... :hammer:

but, in the spirit of true Mad Modding...

the trap door that held in the batteries did not survive the fall. Happily, had a  2-AA cell battery holder in the junk drawer:

some soldering (in the depths of the battery compartment,  :bang:) and some hot glue,
and there you go, good for another decade before I'll have to drop it again

Good fix Joe. Should do great for around the shop. Now that you have it scratched it will last another 10 years.

Cheers

You do realise you haven't been able to buy anything as low as 3 MP for some years now...  :D
