Title: Citric acid - silver solder flux removal
Post by: sorveltaja on February 01, 2011, 04:47:08 PM
I've had a (bad?)habit to make almost saturated solution of citric acid and water, to remove silver soldering(ss) flux. Thinking 'stronger the better'.

With 'really strong' solution, ss flux seems to dissolve really slowly, but when adding more water, dissolving accelerates notably.

Could it be so, that milder solution has more 'room' for ss flux to dissolve?
