Title: equivelent to NEMA 23s

just got hold of a Widgetmast min router and it needs some steppers I would like to buy of ARC Eurotrade as they have been very good up to now, does anybody know the equvelent in there range to a Nema 23 or one that would suite this router.

NEMA23 is a _frame_ _size_ rather than a 'power' specification (cf batteries: AA is a battery _size_; it tells you nothing about mAh).

Google 'NEMA motor dimensions for details', for example http://www.numberfactory.com/NEMA%20Motor%20Dimensions.htm. Arc's motors that are 57mm square will be NEMA23.

That is a bit odd.  Most suppliers list them under NEMA numbers, even here in the UK.  It's usually the torque figures that are quoted differently.
I wonder how many customers they've lost who didn't know they stocked them.
