Title: A DIY TravelRest project
Post by: ksor on November 19, 2014, 09:04:25 AM
Inspired by "dobbleboost" video on this issue I started this project for a TravelRest !  :)

 - some measurering, machining and ALU-casting to use my beer Cans !   :smart:  :coffee:  :loco:

More details here and you can Google Translate to the right just under the menu line - choose whatever language you like in the combobox:

I like the way that you present the design and build of your follow rest in small video links. Overall you are going to have a very usefull piece of tooling for your lathe. I look forward to the rest of the build.  :D :D

Cheers

Hi

I saw on the video that you need very small circlips.  Could you use a coil from a small spring.

I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

I love the way you always introduce yourself as Keld in Denmark. Every country should have a Keld!
And the way you approach your projects, great to watch, thanks.
