Rob

It looks remarkably like a dental spot welder but the average garage repair  shop uses them.

Years ago I bought one. Made the legs out of earth copper rods and turned the electrodes out on the lathe.

There' s even better stuff which does seam welding with wheels. Does shock absorbers.

My wife used a dental one with a four head turret to do orthodontic work using  stainless steel wires and bands.

Sort of 'What's new?'
