Hello there Guys
Really hope someone would be able to kindly assist.
Been having trouble with our TAILSTOCK FEEDSCREW CLAMPING LEVER, Part # 42, wherein it does not engage and is stuck.
Need to open and rectify this.
Problem is how to ???
This is a Taiwanese metre bed machine.
Hope we can load pics from the manual and the actual Tailstock itself.
Would appreciate some enlightenment.
TIA

To me it looks like you need to remove the hand wheel, remove the end cap and then the retainer, the the tail stock centre should then slide out allowing you access to pull the clamp out through the side

Thatr right you need to take it appart pretty simple, once appart you will be able to move the locking handle up and down and you will see the problem

MEXICAN JON and TRAPPER
Right on
Son, the Custom Knifemaker helped with the dismantling, exactly like U Guys said, sourced the problem, refitted and Bob's Your Uncle -better than before.
Thanks a stack
Know we can rely on U Guys
