Maybe it's just me but where is the 'view posts since last visit' gone ?
Also all my smileys are not visible in the 'new post' window.

My show unread posts since last visit is working. Try reloading your theme.

My Avitar is missing also. I tried to reload it and I get a message telling me that the directory is not writable.
