Title: Logan 820 Restoration
Post by: jpoe on March 28, 2012, 12:13:38 PM
I received a warm welcome in the aptly named "welcome" section and made a mention of what I have been working on.

I am just about done with a Restoration of a Logan 820.  I have chronicled the restoration on another site:  http://www.shopfloortalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31982&page=3

The hopefully there is a video of the lathe running in the album.  I messed up somewhere in the gearbox because the leadscrew is not engaging.  I guess I know what I will be working on today.

That looks a lot like what my Logan was covered with, I spent a lot time and $ doing mine, factory parts from Scott got a lot fixed.

Looks Good, They seem to be a pretty nice lathe, I have a 84 TLC 2136 wards/Logan. Dont have the automatic apron or the QCGB though, like yours, just uses the 1/2 nut for feed.
