Title: Rather nice Jewellers Casting Flasks
Post by: awemawson on March 10, 2023, 05:44:44 AM
I spotted these on eTsy and grabbed them - handy for casting smaller stuff - especially two part split patterns as the pouring cone is formed in the flask which can sit vertically (held together with a G clamp)

Saves knocking up little boxes.

Good morning Andrew, well spotted.

Your describing them as 'jewellers' casting flasks' prompts the question:

Is a 1920 half crown more valuable than a 1955 half crown?

If I remember correctly Pete 1947 is the dividing date - pre '47 there was a significant amount of silver in the coinage.
