Title: Hello from Kansas
Post by: jgroom on September 08, 2009, 11:57:01 AM
Hi all!  I'm pretty much interested in anything mechanical.  I've started several steam and IC models, I'm restoring a 1 1/2hp Fuller & Johnson pump engine, and I'm trying desperately to talk myself out of starting a Locost http://www.locostusa.com/ (http://www.locostusa.com/)!  ::)  Current project is rebuilding garage/shop for climate control, and maybe some organization. :bugeye:

Thanks
Jeff

P.S. Not to worry, I already have  :proj:

If need be the group will give you a couple of  :poke:  :poke: and if you don't your going to get a few of these.  :wack: :hammer: :wack: :hammer:

usn ret - I'm thinking a 1.6 Miata motor & trans.  I have a '93 Miata and just love the way it revs!

Me, too.  I have a '94 that is awaiting an MP64 supercharger.  Where are you located?

They have a book for the Miata conversion to the locost right? I have been working on the locost frame in CAD to make it into a reverse trike....
