Title: Caliper App
Post by: Shadow on May 29, 2013, 10:18:12 PM
I had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the twentieth century. Yes I know it's a bit farther than that now but hey, one century at a time. By necessity for work I have been saddled with a smartphone and I came across a free on-screen caliper app. The jaws reverse for inside measurements and it does metric and imperial units. I've just used it for size comparisons at the hardware store so far. As long as this laptop is strapped to my belt it may a well do something.

It was found at Qosina.com. The download is at the top of the main page.

Cheers for that, very neat.

They also do the Machinist calculator for i Phone and iPad and android.
Not free, about £14 but a lot cheaper than the physical calculator and tends not to get misslaid.
