The Isle of Man TT race will feature a green non-IC engine race for the 1st time. I think all of the bikes are going to be electric. The RACE (http://ttxgp.com/index.php) is on the 12th of June. This one is very cool!

At the risk of being considered a 'Party Pooper', what is GREEN about that bike ??
Anything with batteries / electronic control systems is crawling with highly toxic materials, which are damn near impossible to reclaim.
If they want a 'GREEN' TT race I suggest they go back to Rem Fowler's Norton, I reckon I could re-cycle that into uncontaminated ferrous/alloy/cuprous scrap in about an hour or so. Would be lynched by the VMCC though, if I did.
...... And another thing .... I ain't got one, and I'm b*****y jealous. :(

Totally agree, "green" is a money making bandwaggon.....mostly...

Green......
Zero carbon footprint etc......
What about the power station to charge it`s batteries?
Or, have I missed something, again? ::)
