I hope you all enjoy the show lads, I will be thinking of you all, enjoying yourselves.

It nearly killed me last time I went to Warwick, a little too tightly packed and upsy downsy for my legs to cope with.

Have fun, and I will get to see you all at Harrogate.

I'm confused.  Is "Alexander Palace" the British spelling of "Alexandra Palace"?  I thought the former was in  Russia and the latter in north London.

You can't tell the difference Marv, there are that many Russkies in N London

anyway Marv, its often known as "Ally Pally" ! - both to locals, and to those who attend exhibitions there. It also became know to a wider audience as it was the location of the first "High Definition" TV transmitter (http://tx.mb21.co.uk/gallery/alexandrapalace/index.php) in Britain (pre-WWII when HD was the new 405 line B&W VHF service!)

Well I went, but when I got near the Arc Euro stand all I saw was some demented mad man knocking seven bells out of expensive CNC machinery with a spanner!
I ran away and would have called the police but I didn't have my mobile...
