Post by: Dale on February 14, 2010, 05:39:52 PM
Hello all, Dale from Michigan here. Ive been a basement metal whittler for about two years. Two working engines (sterling and a slngle action steam) have been produced thus far.A walking beam steam/solinoid is in the works. This engine I will try to anodize the aluminum parts to make it look like old painted cast iorn. I work very slow but this is a hobby right?

Hi Dale!

Welcome to the collective. :borg:

Who cares what speed you work at... as long as you are having fun, it doesn't matter.

Lets see some picture of the engines :)

Welcome to the collective Dale.  :borg:

Make sure you take lots of pictures. The anodizing will be an interesting part of the build cycle. Looking forward to your posts on that.

Ah, working slow, the wife says if I work any slower I'll be going backwards.
