Wow, very interesting stuff, ironman!!

It looks like you are preheating your ladle with oil from your pressurized re-purposed propane tank, or is that really propane?

And the extensions are really interesting. I had thought that if my little single charge cupola didn't work out, that maybe I could just add an extension -- and here you've already done that kind of thing.

I know you're probably busy, but if you ever do get a chance I would really like to see a video of how you make your cores with Portland cement. I just mean a simple cylindrical core. I had real difficulty trying to keep a Portland cement core intact while removing from the core box.  Maybe you just let it cure in the core box?

Anyway, back to your cupola.......fantastic! That's a lot of iron.

I was hoping to manage up to a ten pound pour, myself!

That is a monster!

By the way - Browne's Dairy called and they want their crates back!

The ladle preheater uses propane.

With your portland cement cores rap them a little and then let them set before removing the core.

I will make a video about that in the near future.

I thought Browne's Dairy didn't want them any more.
