having read a few of the topics on here i've been inspired to get back on track!!
i used to make all my own kit, but of late i've bought quite a lot of stuff i could have made, some of which i've had to improve/re make!
ive got some kit i made 27 years ago and it still works as good as the day it was made :bugeye:
i'm making a tapping guide this weekend, simple design and just what i need (i have an inability to tap a straight hole :()
i'll post pics when i've done, good or bad and successful or not

Look forward to it ... please post plenty of pics because :worthless:
I`m going to need to make one after the rest of the jobs on my list!

i've "designed" something to fit in a drill chuck so the tap follows the hole perfectly, i'll be able to use it in both the lathe and the mill.
thems brave words :)
