Post by: fluxcored on February 22, 2011, 08:29:20 AM
Do'nt know whether this is allowed - mods feel free to delete if it offends. My sincerest apologies if it breaks protocol.

Just wish to share this thread that I stumbled on some time ago on another board which has a nice list of lots of small projects for the enthusiast.

Most of those are from "Popular Mechanics" from the 40s 50s and 60s. These can also be found through Google Books http://books.google.com/books?id=5dcDAAAAMBAJ&dq=popular+mechanics+%22metal+shaper%22&lr=&source=gbs_all_issues_r&cad=1 (http://books.google.com/books?id=5dcDAAAAMBAJ&dq=popular+mechanics+%22metal+shaper%22&lr=&source=gbs_all_issues_r&cad=1).

Most Issues from 1900-2005 with lots of technical articles like these  :dremel:as well as some interesting historical perspective. Just be warned with some of the older articles. A lot describe projects that would come nowhere near meeting the sort of safety standards people expect these days. :zap:
